Veterans Speak in Favor of Repealing “Do not Ask, Don’t Tell” Human Rights Campaign joins gay and straight veterans to hold public forum at Ohio Statehouse www.hrc.org/RepealDADT WASHINGTON, DC — The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) will check out Columbus, OH, this Thursday, December 16, for a public forum on “Do not Ask, Do not Inform.” The forum, featuring 3 Ohio veterans, will highlight the discriminatory law that hurts military readiness and national security whilst putting American soldiers fighting overseas at danger. In October Senator John McCain led a profitable Republican filibuster of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), to which repeal of DADT is attached.
