    anyone know where a tab for this is?

  3. Utubesuxmycock says:

    Thumbs up if you think this song has the best fucking chorus on the album!!

  4. KillswitchEngage42 says:

    Comparing this to DT is useless. They are two different monsters. Labrie’s solo album is just plain catchy and beautiful, but DT is an all-star team of some of the greatest players on Earth. The music of DT is increasingly more complex and versatile than James’ music, but James’ tunes are candy for the mind. I love them both, but they are too different to compare.

  5. TheVicariousx says:

    I listen to the album for the whole suite of instruments and vocals.

  6. theaterofsouls says:

    this song wont be good as this if the singer was not labrie… think about it…
    and the chorus keeps ringing in my mind…

  7. astralremnant says:

    I love his voice. I can’t understand why my brother says it is annoying. I wish I could sing like James.

  8. Zerkero says:

    i love dis song everytime i heard it it sink at my heart and want to cry hhahahahaha i wish dt came in the phillpines

  9. HastOsth says:

    @zooyorkkid85 Screaming yes, ofc it can hurt your throat, but growling on the otherhand is a technique and if developed and maintained as good as a “normal” singing technique its not damaging for your vocalchords at all. I know growlers that have been doing it for 20 years and still have the same range and power in their voices as before they started!

  10. Numbstrike says:

    “I never felt, euphoric so high…” :) <3

  11. CanadianNoob17 says:

    @tirachana close but no cigar

  12. zooyorkkid85 says:

    screaming can actually damage the vocal chords. its also why my voice was damaged alot, but still in good shape…i quit while i stil could

  13. ozeri says:

    @tirachana

    I hope you mean DT of the post Systematic chaos Era . and then i’ll accept with you .
    the best song in Static Impule for me is Over The Edge though .
    but in overall – this is outstanding album !

  14. tirachana says:

    better then D T

  15. grantmaster13 says:

    @MyMytalMajesty Anyone can scream. I can scream this message as I type it if I want to.

    While i’m not exactly a fan of the Screaming myself, and while i do agree it is very mainstream sounding, Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to Scream/Growl like that? Believe me, there have been countless times when i’ve listened to Opeth and i tried to growl with Mikael Akerfeldt, and believe me, it is not easy. So try doing it yourself before criticizing and say it has “no talent”

    -Peace.

    @MyMytalMajesty
    You’re right. He allways says he allways needs more time to write songs then the others…

  18. LordAngelon says:

    STFU AND LISTEN TO THIS ASS KICKIN TRACK!

  19. seroxturk says:

    @Checalov Touchy?

    Although I like Dream Theater’s music better than this, I still support James Labrie. If you are a true Labrie fan, you will support him whether his music isn’t your taste or not, since he has to see something in it to be doing it. I hope Dream Theater stays around though, they are still the best!

    1. I don’t care who wrote the songs.

    2. The only thing the screams add is a generic mainstream sound that requires no tallent to produce. And I’m glad Labrie hasn’t touched this “new dynamic” because his talents were put to far better use with DT.

  22. sykopath66190 says:

    @grantmaster13
    1. James LaBrie didn’t write these songs. Matt Gullory (keyboards) did.
    2. The screams add depth, a feeling of anger/anguish, and a completely new dynamic to prog rock/metal that LaBrie has yet to ever experiment with. Peter Wildoer did a great job…just GET USED TO IT.

  23. Checalov says:

    @seroxturk
    learn to spell.

  24. lafree says:

    This is by far the best song on the album for me! But unlike most of the people think I guess the lyrics are less about someone you have a love interest in but finding a person that you can appreciate in every way or something like a soulmate. Yeah I know it’s about a chick and some lines suggest it’s a about love and all but that doesn’t prevent it from being about an intense friendship. And that’s the great thing about music and lyrics, it can be interpreted in so many ways =)

    @08Revelator I’m talking about the Dream Theater discussion below. You just have to go back a page or two in the comments. Again, LaBries new album is wonderful.
